M. Maldonado (she/her) is an introvert at heart. When she’s not writing, she’s likely lost in a book or spending an arguably unhealthy amount of time scrolling through social media. She enjoys reading fiction across genres, as well as nonfiction on neuroscience, astrophysics, social issues, and anything that helps her become a better human. Her love for storytelling began in childhood, when she would imagine alternate endings to her favorite TV shows, movies, and books. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, M. Maldonado draws inspiration from her culture and travels. Exploring new places and cultures has deeply influenced her world-building and character development in Whispers of Emberstones. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and dreaming up her next story.
